With Kick smashing every box office record, Sri Lankan beauty queen Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to emerge as the new lucky charm in Bollywood replacing the curvaceous Sonakshi Sinha who was the leading lady in some of the biggest hits in recent times.

Starting her career opposite the charismatic Salman Khan in Dabangg, Sonakshi went on to play the female lead in super grossing projects like Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar and Dabangg 2.

Her performances ensured that the list of producers queuing up to sign her grew bigger with each hit, as her presence in a project had become a guarantee of sorts for mega-earnings, especially after Son of Sardaar was written off by critics but still proved to be a massive money-spinner at the ticket windows.

Unfortunately for Sonakshi, the heady success she experienced left her with no time to assess her performances and soon became repetitive to the extent that a widely-respected film critic and reviewer advised her to reinvent herself.

That was then. Now, the week, the month and, perhaps, even the year belongs to Jacqueline who started her career with Aladin back in 2009 the movie bombed but the leggy lass continued to improve her track record with the erotic Murder 2, Housefull 2 and Race 2 before the man with the Midas touch — Salman Khan — picked her as his female lead for Kick.

Kick keeping the cash registers ringing and setting new records in earnings with  each passing day, Jacqueline is almost certain to emerge as the new lucky charm in superstitious Bollywood and is sure to be flooded with offers. However, How well Jacqueline handles this success? Only time will tell.
